Repent my love!

We can't fully examine ourselves without the help of the Lord.
The reason for this is because as humans, we have a tendency to make excuses.
We tend to take Liberties and try to explain our problems as mistakes, weaknesses or mishaps.
But by God's standards, by the standards in the Word of God, sin is called sin.
Sexual immorality is called sexual immorality.
Pride is called pride.
The bible calls it as it is and that's the standard we should judge ourselves by.
The more time you spend around with a group of vulgur and foul mouthed people, the more intolerance you have for foul and dirty languages.
We all build up a tolerance for something, You live in a dysfunctional environment long enough and you will begin to think that, that's the norm.
This is the same with sin.
You entertain the thought of doing it for long enough.
Eventually, you fall.
Should you then compromise and continue to fall into that same sin, then you will find that your conscience becomes hardened.
Your heart will become hardened and If you tolerate it for long enough, that sin will no longer be a bad sin.
You start calling it a mistake.
You start justifying it.You may say to yourself, i will turn from my sin later when i get a little older or more financially secure.
You may be waiting just long enough to enjoy your sin as much as possible, but not too long so you will not carry it into death. The truth is we don't know how long we got.
Many think they can live the life they want now and be forgiven later, be a better person/parent/partner/friend/neighbour later, submit to God later.
You may think you will have more time later.
However, you don't know how much time you actually have left on Earth.
We have very little control over that.
